GiG Software has entered into an arrangement with digital marketing and iGaming operator Jupiter Gaming to move several of its online casino brand names onto GiG's CoreX platform and SportX sportsbook option.

The partnership marks a more step in GiG's growth within the UK's controlled online gaming market, following the current rollout of operator brand names in the jurisdiction, consisting of ITV Win.

The migration will see Jupiter Gaming shift numerous brands onto GiG's 'innovation community', developed to enhance functional efficiency and regulative compliance.

Under the arrangement, the Jersey-based service will deploy GiG's CoreX platform, supported by the company's DataX and LogicX modules, together with the SportX sportsbook.

The migration is expected to be finished later on this year, allowing the company to run its brands on a single platform.

Stockholm-listed GiG said its SportX sportsbook will offer sophisticated trading, pricing and risk management tools, assisting Jupiter Gaming much better control exposure and enhance margins.

"GiG's proven shipment in the UK, integrated with the depth of its CoreX item and SportX sportsbook, made a migration to the platform a clear strategic step for Jupiter Gaming," stated James Lowrey, Chief People Officer representing Jupiter Gaming.

"We look forward to leveraging GiG's technology to further reinforce Jupiter's position in the market."

The agreement reflects Jupiter Gaming's decision to bring its brand names onto a single technology platform that can support future development while fulfilling the UK's stringent regulatory requirements. The UK is one of the world's most competitive and firmly controlled iGaming markets, as seen by relocations as current as today.

Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy verified that operators unlicensed in the UK will likely be disallowed from sponsoring British sports clubs. Other current examples of the UK tightening its policy consist of the development of the Illegal Gambling Taskforce in addition to tax boosts late last year which were revealed in the Autumn Budget.
